Porque Statement
Un Dia En La Vida: This project was done to help the students use reflexive verbs properly.
Cuento de tu niñez |
|
This project was to tell a story fiction or non, from when we were a child and describe in very short detail the "steps" in which the events happened. I believe that it is important to express yourself in the past tense in spanish because it gives we students more practice the the preterite as well as an opportunity to get to know about each other better. The preterite and imperfect tenses helped in writing this story because it was a story from our past; it gave us a chance to use what we learned and get help on where we need to improve.
Mi mamá y my papá intentaron ayudarme pero no marchó.

We were required to write a biography on a famous spanish speaking person and pretend to be them for our exhibition. Also, through this biography we were required to use the preterite and imperfect to enlighten our knowledge. The preterite is used for actions that can be viewed as single events; for a specific amount of time. The imperfect represents actions that can be viewed as many events with an undefined amount of time.
I did not really enjoy the project, or the least to say it wasn't my favorite. It was very time consuming and I struggle with public speaking.
The exhibition went well, I started out nervous but gradually got a pattern of speaking down. That way, it went quickly.

Reflection: I did not attend the exhibition but I enjoyed making this recipe and presenting it to the class. The only thing that was hard for me was doing the commands for the recipes, everything else was easy. An example of a command in english is "Eat your food!" They tell people what to do. This was by far my favorite project this year.
